Terms and Conditions
Booking and Payment
Following submission of your order, we will firstly email you to confirm we can fulfil your order. We will then email you an invoice from Paypal from which payment in full should be made. You can pay by credit/debit card without the need for a Paypal account. Upon receipt of your payment, we will start planning your walks.
If you have any disability or special requirements, it is essential that you inform us at the time of booking.
As all our walks are developed for you individually, this does mean that it may take us 5 “working days” to provide you with your order via email, following receipt of payment in full. “Working Days” means days that aren’t a Saturday, a Sunday or a recognised Public Holiday in England. However, we will usually be quicker than this and will always keep you updated on the progress of your order.
If we are unable to fulfil your order within this timescale, we will notify you before any payment is made to confirm you wish to continue with your order.
If you order less than 10 working days prior to your departure for your trip, we cannot guarantee we can fulfil your order before you depart. In this instance we will contact you on receipt of your order to discuss the options available.
We’re sorry but in this increasingly litigious world, we need to make some issues clear. We make every effort to ensure that the routes we plan for you are suitable for your needs but by the very nature of walking, it is not risk free and sometimes the unexpected can arise.
The information provided in your route pack is based upon available knowledge at that time. We make every effort to provide you with route(s) suitable for your needs. We cannot be held responsible for any issues that may prevent you from following the route – for example (but not limited to), the closure of or impassable public footpaths, or adverse weather conditions. We also make every effort to advise you of the correct opening times of pubs or cafes, and up to date menus, but we cannot be held responsible if these are changed by the proprietor. Likewise, should your package include the use of public transport, we cannot be held responsible for services not running to schedule.
You are responsible for ensuring that you (and others walking with you) are fit and able enough to undertake the walk as provided and that you (and others walking with you) have adequate food, equipment and first aid with you, and are capable of navigating the walk provided. It is your responsibility alone to decide whether to proceed with the route provided. You walk at your own risk and you (and others walking with you) are responsible for your own safety. We will not be liable for any injury, illness, or death or consequent losses suffered by you or any member of your party, nor will be responsible where you do not enjoy the walks(s) provided.
It is strongly recommended that you hold suitable holiday insurance including medical cover, personal accident, loss of belongings & cancellation cover. We cannot be held responsible for any illness, injury or loss/damage of your belongings that may occur when you are following one of our routes.
Use of Route Packages
You may only use our route packages for your own, personal use. The route packages are not permitted to be sold on, photocopied, or displayed anywhere online, or used for additional business purposes. Ordnance Survey maps are provided under license and may not be reproduced in any form.
It is our goal to ensure we provide you with hiking routes that will help you to enjoy your holiday more than by using a guidebook etc. If you have any problems or are unhappy with your route pack, please contact us within 5 working days otherwise it is considered that you are satisfied with the walks provided.
